A Look Back at 2015 | The Bentley Boys

2015 was an amazing year for The Bentley Boys! Take a trip down memory lane with us and see some of the weddings, events and festivals we were a part of this year, along with the nominations and awards we received!

We love weddings and we’re always honoured to be part of a couple’s big day. This year’s calendar was jam packed with fabulous weddings and we enjoyed every minute! Looking forward to 2016, our calendar is filling up quickly and we’ve already taken bookings for 2018!! There are some very organised couples out there who know to book The Bentley Boys early to avoid disappointment! We also have some very high profile weddings in the calendar but we must remain tight lipped. Once we can reveal details you’ll be the first to know 🙂

Jim and Joanne’s July wedding in AnnaCarriga Co. Clare was one of the stand out weddings this year. Their guests were so much fun and we had a fantastic night! It was such a beautiful wedding, we featured it on our blog.

Performing the length and breadth of Ireland, we’re lucky to get to visit many of Ireland’s most beautiful venues such as Castle Durrow, Tankardstown, Dromquinna Manor, Dromoland Castle, Lyrath Estate and Ballymagarvey, among many more. The standard of weddings across the country is astounding. Couples are spoiled for choice with all the fantastic wedding venues and wedding coordinators here are world class. The venue we performed at most this year was Castle Durrow in Co. Laois, which is on Trip Advisers list of the top 10 best castle hotels in the world!

We always encourage couples to come to one of our showcases. They are the best way for couples to see the Bentley Boys live experience and to see the many options that are available to match couples’ varying preferences. In 2015 we held over 80 showcases – now that’s commitment! We’ve already scheduled our showcase dates for 2016 , the first will be held on Sunday January 3rd in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone.

Thank you to The Bentley Boys and all involved in helping to make our wedding day so unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for any more from a band, they had the whole crowd up for the night, everyone couldn’t stop talking about the band! From the moment we booked the Bentley Boys we didn’t have a moment’s doubt or worry when it came to our band. We’ve had numerous guest asking for your details so they can book the Bentley Boys for their own weddings/events.

From start to finish you really rocked it! We felt so lucky to have chosen such an amazingly talented band to perform on the greatest day of our lives. From your presentation, to your musical skills, you boys just ooze talent and professionalism and to top it off you’re nice lads too, always a bonus! Your own rendition of “take it to the limit” blew us away and we can’t wait to hear it again when we get our DVD. We knew you guys were great but we were so caught up in the moment that night that it wasn’t until looking through our photos we truly realised what a ball everyone else was having. We danced our little socks off! Thank you once again for giving us a night to remember forever.

Bentley Boys 2015 Events

Although they are Ireland’s most popular wedding band, the Bentley Boys are also in demand for corporate events, private celebrations and festivals. In 2015 the band performed at a variety of Gala Balls, Award Ceremonies, Festivals, Birthday Parties and Christmas Parties. It really was an insanely busy year! These events are quiet different to performing at weddings, but just like weddings, their success relies on reading the crowd correctly which the Bentley Boys are pro’s at – practice makes perfect! Thank you for putting on a brilliant show at our recent Dscoop party in the Guinness Storehouse. The feedback has been fantastic and one of our organisation’s founders described you as “the best band we have had at a Dscoop party in the last 10 years”. Superb!

We loved working with the Bentley Boys on our Visit Belfast Ambassador Awards held in the Ulster Museum. Given the nature of the venue and stage area it wasn’t straight forward but nothing was a problem for the Bentley Boys, which is great when you are organising an event like that. All the feedback was really positive.

Bentley Boys 2015 Nominations & Awards

Throughout the year the Bentley Boys received various award nominations and numerous other accolades. In an industry packed with fantastic acts, it’s a wonderful feeling to be recognised as one of Ireland’s leading providers of wedding and corporate entertainment. A highlight this year was been named Hot Press Magazine Wedding Band to Want 2015! Most recently, the Bentley Boys were announced as Weddings Online Band of the Year 2016 finalists. This is our fourth consecutive year as finalists for the prestigious award.
